Additional Ground Acquisition West of Sweeney Lake British Columbia

| | January 28, 2010: Vancouver BC: Nanika Resources Inc. (TSXV-NKA and FSE-C7X) is pleased to announce it has acquired a 100% interest in 993.02 additional acres to the immediate west of and adjacent to its Sweeney Lake Property. The Sweeney Lake Property consists of the Sweeney and adjacent Ted claims and is located 115 kilometres by road south of Houston, British Columbia.
Nanika's recent drilling on the Ted claims was centered 4.2 kilometres northeast of the Huckleberry Mine open pit. Huckleberry produces copper and molybdenum concentrates and is operated by Huckleberry Mines Ltd. a subsidiary of Imperial Metals Corporation (50%) and a Japanese consortium (50%). A total of 1,992.91 metres of NQ diamond drilling was completed by Nanika on the Ted and Sweeney claims on January 26, 2010.
President and CEO, James Jacuta, stated "These additional mineral tenures are immediately adjacent to Huckleberry Mines properties and extends Nanika's area of interest approximately 2.8 kilometres further to the west. This brings Nanika's total area that has been assembled to 4,946.62 contiguous acres at Sweeney Lake. Nanika will be making a decision on doing work on these new properties as soon as we receive our final assay results on the drill program completed on January 26, 2010, which in the ordinary course should be sometime in February."
